Motorola Razr 2026: Everything You Need to Know
The most affordable 2026 Razr flip phone: a full-size screen that folds into your palm.
Motorola has refreshed its foldable line-up, and the Razr 2026 is its most affordable member. It is a classic clamshell flip: folded, it fits in your palm; opened, it becomes a full-size smartphone with a 6.9-inch screen. Alongside it Motorola launched the pricier Razr Plus and Razr Ultra, but the base version is aimed squarely at buyers picking up their first flip phone.
Displays
The inner screen is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of brightness, so it stays readable even in direct sunlight. The 3.6-inch external AMOLED (90Hz) lets you reply to messages, control music and shoot photos without opening the phone.
Performance and battery
The phone runs a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X (4 nm) chip with 8GB of RAM. You can choose 128GB or 256GB of storage (there is no microSD slot). Motorola rates the 4,800 mAh battery for more than 36 hours, and 30W wired charging restores a full day of power in about 15 minutes. There is also 15W wireless charging.
Cameras
Around the back sits a dual 50MP system: a main f/1.7 lens with optical stabilisation and a 50MP ultrawide (122°) lens. A 32MP camera handles selfies, and video records in 4K. Folded, the phone doubles as a handy stand for video calls or night shots.
Durability and colours
The Razr 2026 has a titanium hinge, Gorilla Glass Victus and an IP48 dust and water resistance rating. It weighs 188g and is just 15.9mm thick when folded. Colour options are Hematite, Sporting Green, Violet Ice and Bright White.
Who is it for?
This is a phone for people who want a foldable without paying flagship money. The Razr Plus and Razr Ultra offer faster chips and larger cover screens, but the base Razr 2026 keeps the same design and flip experience for less. It costs $799.99 in the US; in the Baltics the price has not been announced yet, but expect around €799.
